A report on the Moët & Chandon tasting dinner at MDWA in Gdańsk

On 11 June 2026, a Moët & Chandon tasting dinner took place at MDWA Art & Dining in Gdańsk. It was a special evening during which the restaurant’s tasting menu was paired with selected champagnes from one of the world’s most renowned champagne houses.

The wine dinner at MDWA combined signature cuisine, impeccable service and a story about champagne. Moët & Chandon wines were paired with each course, highlighting the character of the menu, its structure, aromas and seasonal ingredients.

The evening was hosted by Pierre, brand ambassador for Moët & Chandon. During dinner, he spoke about the history of the champagne house, the styles of the various champagnes and their role in pairing with the dishes served by the MDWA team.

The commentary-led dinner provided an opportunity to experience fine dining in Gdańsk in the form of a gathering around the table, where the cuisine, Champagne and conversation came together as a cohesive whole. For MDWA Art & Dining, a restaurant featured in the MICHELIN Guide 2026, this was yet another event fostering dialogue between gastronomy, art and wine culture.

The person responsible for the photo reportage of the event was Jacek Koślicki.
