On 26 June 2026, the regional ceremony to present the MICHELIN Guide Poland 2026 plaques took place at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. This was a symbolic moment confirming the restaurant’s inclusion in one of the world’s most important gastronomic guides. The MICHELIN Guide 2026 plaque is a distinction that highlights the quality, consistency and daily efforts of the entire team behind the dining experience. For us, this marks an important milestone in the history of MDWA and serves as motivation to continue developing a cuisine in which flavour, artistry, local context and precision of service come together to form a cohesive narrative.
High Heels
Gdańsk has just gained a strong selling point to put itself on the culinary map for the most discerning travellers. The local Hilton has been recognised in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide as one of only two hotels in Poland to receive two MICHELIN Guide 2026 distinctions.
Culinary Criticism
Best view in town. Best location. Best products. Best wines. And it's the BEST address in Gdansk. I happened to be at the premiere dinner and went through the entire menu, which you can now try at MDWA. I recommend making a reservation.
