The idea came from a fascination with art, travel
and many years of experience in the world of gastronomy.
Behind the restaurant concept is Filip Wójcikiewicz a hotelier and restaurateur who has been developing the fine dining scene in Gdansk for years and co-founded the Michelin-starred Mercato restaurant.

The character of the MDWA kitchen is shaped by Dominik Karpik.
His work combines local products, Kashubian inspirations and techniques of modern gastronomy.
